The pilot list

DreamJob uses your email address, and the name and role you optionally provide, to manage interest in the pilot and contact you about access. Signing up does not create a job-search account or authorize any job applications. We record when you agree to receive a pilot invitation.

Where information goes

The website runs on Railway. When registration is enabled, pilot registrations are stored in our dedicated Supabase project. These providers process information to operate the service. We do not sell your contact details or publish the registration list.

Your private workspace

Supabase verifies your login. If you choose email sign-in, Resend sends a single-use link to the email address you provide. Google verifies your identity when you choose Google sign-in, where available. DreamJob stores the professional facts, preferences and job details that you choose to save. These records belong to your account. Pasted job links are not fetched, and tracking a stage does not send an application. The public demo uses fictional examples and does not save them to your account.

If you add your LinkedIn profile link, DreamJob reads that public page once, when you reach the question about companies, to suggest your current and previous employers as companies you never apply to. Only the employer names are kept, with your preferences, and you can remove any of them. The page itself is not stored. We never sign in to LinkedIn, and nothing is posted or sent there. If the profile is private or LinkedIn declines the request, nothing is read.

The companies you mark as never apply to, and the ones you mark as dream places to work, are stored with your preferences. They are used only to hide or highlight roles for you. Employers never see either list.

The last onboarding question keeps what most application forms ask: your phone number, where you live, your current role and your notice period, and three standing answers you choose yourself: whether we accept an employer’s privacy notice for you, whether we answer “No” to questions about relatives or conflicts of interest, with the companies where that answer would be wrong, and how sensitive questions such as disability are treated. They are stored with your preferences, you can change them at any time, and none of them is sent anywhere today: DreamJob does not submit applications yet.

To tell you which roles you could apply to with what you have already confirmed, DreamJob reads the employer’s public application form for roles in your feed. That request carries nothing about you.

Your career email

When you activate a career email address, DreamJob stores that address, message text, sender and recipient details, delivery information, read/star/archive choices, application tags and the email-to-application stage links you choose in Supabase. Resend processes incoming and outgoing messages to provide email delivery. Messages appear in your private account as text; the inbox does not load external images. Email is sent when you choose Send email or retry an existing send request.

Language preferences

On your first visit, we use the approximate country associated with your IP address to suggest a language and to show the example salaries on the home page in your local currency. The lookup happens on our server; this feature does not save your IP address or send it to a geolocation service. Your browser language is used when needed. Choosing a language saves a preference cookie for one year and overrides the automatic choice. Country data includes GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics, DreamJob records a limited set of product events in its private Supabase database, linked to your account UUID and deleted with your account. When configured, PostHog also receives sanitized events with pseudonymous account and browser session identifiers. We do not send your form contents, email or name, and do not record sessions. The site works without analytics. You can change your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer.

Optional feedback answers and referral attribution are stored with your account. Creating a referral link does not send messages to anyone.

Protecting the form

We use a short-lived, hashed network identifier to limit spam. Hosting providers may also keep operational access logs. Registration data is available only to the people operating DreamJob and the services needed to store it.

Your choices

Joining the list is optional. You may request access, correction or removal of your registration and withdraw your consent. Reply to any pilot invitation to reach the DreamJob team. We will not use your information for unrelated marketing.

Retention

We keep pilot-list information for up to 12 months unless you join the service or ask us to remove it sooner. When the full product launches, its data practices and terms will be presented separately before you use it.
